On September 17, 2026, the AI + Brain-Computer Technology and Industrial Application Sharing Session was successfully held at the Nam Tong Commercial Building in Macau. Closely aligned with Macau's "1+4" strategy for appropriately diversified economic development, the event focused on the frontier tracks of artificial intelligence, brain-inspired intelligence, and smart health, aiming to popularize cutting-edge scientific and technological innovation achievements among the local Macau community and to help upgrade innovation in Macau's high-tech industries.

The sharing session was jointly hosted by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Brain-Inspired Engineering Research Association, the Macau Association for the Application of Artificial Intelligence, Suiren (Zhuhai) Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and Da Hengqin (Macau) Co., Ltd., co-organized by several local Macau associations and Greater Bay Area talent platforms, and supported by the Macau Youth Entrepreneurship Incubation Center.

The event invited a number of experts, scholars, and industry representatives to give thematic presentations.

Professor Liu Xianjing of Macau Polytechnic University took sleep health as his starting point and, combining artificial intelligence, multimodal imaging, and multi-omics technologies, explained the intrinsic relationship between sleep and the brain, providing frontier academic ideas for the development of the precision digital health industry.

Tang Tao, a young researcher at Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology, focused on the frontier direction of brain-computer interfaces and provided an in-depth analysis of the scientific research value and industrialization prospects of the technology, offering a reference for Macau to lay out the emerging track of brain-inspired intelligence and cultivate future industries.

In the industrial practice session, He Yun, Marketing Director of Suiren (Zhuhai) Medical Technology, introduced the implementation results of the brain-computer interface project. "Menglin" adopts a non-invasive technical solution, integrating high-precision EEG acquisition with AI-powered intelligent analysis to build a "perception-regulation-intervention" closed-loop system and expand the application scenarios of neuromodulation technology.

After the presentations, the attending guests held in-depth discussions on the technical roadmap and clinical translation value of "Menglin," and spoke highly of the achievement.

Relying on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Brain-Inspired Engineering Research Association, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Brain-Inspired Engineering Center builds a platform for scientific and technological innovation industry exchange and cooperation in the Greater Bay Area, carrying out academic exchanges, industry matchmaking, and the translation of technological achievements to empower the science and technology industries of Hengqin and Macau. Going forward, the platform will give full play to Macau's international location and resource advantages, continue to promote the implementation and application of cutting-edge scientific and technological innovations in Hengqin and Macau, support Macau's appropriately diversified economic development, and promote collaborative innovation in science and technology across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
