Professor Yu Pan was granted a Ph.D. degree in management by University Rennes 1, France, and finished his postdoctoral study at the University of Pennsylvania in the U.S. He now is the deputy dean of Key Laboratory of Applied Brain and Cognitive Sciences. He has been awarded several prestigious titles, such as Young Scholar of National Major Talents Program, Baiqianwan Talent Program, New Century Talents from the Ministry of Education, and Eastern Scholar at Shanghai Institutions of Higher Learning. He has been committed to the development of cognitive neuroscience with a foresight to promote cross-discipline research in management science, with a focus on user online behaviors. He has led/participated in over 30 research projects with a total grant of over 20 million RMBs received from the National Social Science Foundation and National Natural Science Foundation. He has published more than 50 papers in leading journals such as Nature Human Behavior and Management World and won the Jiang Yiwei Award, China Information Economics Award, the second prize of National Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, and the first prize of Shanghai Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, etc. He serves as the executive vice-chairman of the Neural Management and Neural Engineering Research Association of the School of Management Science and Engineering of China, the executive director of CNAIS, and also holds academic positions such as expert members of the National Telecommunication Users Committee.
