Personal Profile:

Dr. Wu graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2015 with a B.S. degree. He received his Ph.D. degree of Neuroscience from Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. He joined the lab of somatosensory Neural Networks (LSNN) of the Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology (GDIIST) as a postdoctoral fellow in April 2022. His findings were published in iScience、Cell Reports and Neuroscience Bulletin.

Research insterests:

He was mainly engaged in the research of plasticity of axon initial segment and mouse neural network mediated by COUP-TFI during the doctoral study. After joining Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology, he focuses on the mechanisms of neuropathic pain, using single-cell sequencing, neural circuit tracing techniques, and in-vivo electrophysiology to study the role and neural circuit basis of peripheral nerve injury-induced neuronal clusters in neuropathic pain.
